In general Sony cyber-shot dsc-tx10 has a good performance. But as in other cameras, Sony cyber-shot dsc-tx10 also have shortcomings based on my observations.

Pros:
Give good results in shooting in less light situations, even at ISO 800.
This camera has a tiny body, making it easy to carry anywhere.
Sony cyber-shot dsc-tx10 is a waterproof camera, but you can use this camera for everyday purposes, with results as good image quality.
Features Full HD 1080/60i with a dual record of stills and movies on the camera is quite good when compared with other cameras with the same price range.
Can zooming when shooting video, the real-time. Most of today's cameras can not zoom while shooting video directly.
Have a good wide-angle, so you do not need the additional wide-angle adapter.
Has a panorama mode is quite good and effective, but it gives results with image quality that is not too good because there is noise at the time of cropping the panorama.
Excellent flash coverage.
There is a choice of MPEG or AVCHD recording. Mpeg is the best for compatibility and editing, but it requires large memory space, while AVCHD is very difficult in the editing than MPEG.
Cons:
Startup time is slow on the uptake of photographs (5-7 seconds) and video (5 seconds). This is very annoying because it's so slow when compared to Panasonic TS1s.
The touch screen on this camera has a time with an accuracy of about 80%. Sometimes also inaccurate.
The shutter button is too sensitive. You could accidentally get out of the viewing mode. Shutter release is also very sensitive, so it only required half the pressure to focus.
The slide cover of the dsc-tx10 less comfortable.
Battery life is very bad. It is advisable to have a second battery if you will wear it for a long time.
Tips:
To solve this problem you can buy a battery charger SONY, and the aftermarket generic battery from eForcity, which you can order here. In my experience, the aftermarket generic battery from Battery life eForcity has better battery than Sony.
Sony battery: 630mah, aftermarket: 900mAh.
Conclusion:
Overall, I like this camera. The feature is quite helpful for outdoor activities, and for daily. Sony cyber-shot dsc-tx10 also have a relatively cheap price, when compared with a waterproof camera in his class.
